Boulder Punch — Fractional CMO Leadership
Embedded CMO leadership

You don’t need more marketing. You may need marketing leadership.

Many companies don’t lack marketing — they lack ownership. The marketing team is busy, but growth is flat. There’s a plan, but no clear leadership. Strategy becomes reactive, fragmented, and results stall. Growth comes when someone owns the direction, decisions, and outcomes — not just the execution.

Ownership + Alignment + Growth System

What is a Fractional CMO?

Senior marketing leadership, integrated into your business.

A Fractional CMO is a senior marketing executive who is embedded in your organization and serves as part of your executive team. They lead strategy, team alignment, and growth initiatives on a part-time or contract basis — without the cost or risk of a full-time hire.

Why companies use this model

Leadership, direction, and accountability.

Companies bring in a fractional CMO when they do not need more activity — they need better decisions, clearer prioritization, stronger orchestration, and measurable ownership over growth. This is not extra marketing. This is the leadership layer that makes marketing work.

Embedded leadership, not external advice.

Boulder Punch operates within your organization as a strategic marketing leader — aligning teams, guiding decisions, and establishing direction.

Alignment across what drives growth.

Resources, messaging, priorities, pipeline, and execution become connected instead of fragmented.

Marketing becomes a predictable system.

It is strategic leadership with accountability, integrated into how your business operates.

Messy > System

This is not a talent problem. It’s a leadership gap.

Teams can be smart, active, and fully booked — while still producing inconsistent results. Boulder Punch provides the layer of ownership that brings direction to scattered resources and structure to fragmented execution.

Scattered resources converge. The system snaps into place.

How Boulder Punch works

Embedded CMO leadership.

Boulder Punch operates within your organization as a strategic marketing leader — aligning teams, guiding decisions, establishing priorities, and ensuring marketing supports the broader business strategy.

The operating model

Insight first. Alignment second. Execution that drives revenue.

Sometimes this means rolling up sleeves. More often, it means giving teams clarity, confidence, and accountability so they can execute at a higher level. This is leadership that reduces complexity — so teams move faster, priorities stay stable, and pipeline becomes visible.

Meet Tim

The experience behind the results.

I’ve spent over two decades building and scaling marketing organizations for B2B, SaaS, technology, professional services companies, and venture-backed start-ups navigating growth, change, and inflection points. My role has been consistent: bring structure where there is noise, direction where there is drift, and results where there is pressure.

Running an integrated brand marketing agency sharpened my ability to think creatively across industries, move fast, and deliver results under real-world constraints. Serving as CMO inside B2B SaaS companies deepened my focus on scalable growth systems, RevOps alignment, and executive-level decision-making.

I understand how strategy looks on a whiteboard and how it breaks in execution. I know where marketing and sales misalign, where funnels leak, where agencies fail, and where teams get stuck without clear ownership. As a fractional CMO, I operate as part of the executive team. I set priorities, define goals, align cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure marketing supports the broader business strategy.

I don’t sell tactics. I take responsibility for outcomes. That’s what fractional leadership should mean.

Growth has stalled or feels unpredictable

Teams need direction, not more tasks
Go-to-market strategy needs to be rebuilt or sharpened
